Flat tyre?
We change the wheel on the spot.

Flat tyre
No spare wheel?

Many newer cars don’t have one

Often there’s only a puncture repair kit in the boot, or nothing at all. No problem: if the wheel can’t be replaced on the spot, we load the car and take it to a tyre specialist or the garage of your choice.

If you have a spare, we fit it, tighten the nuts and check its pressure. A space-saver spare is only for getting to a garage: drive gently and no faster than 80 km/h.

Potholes, kerbs and screws from building sites cause plenty of punctures in Brussels. A cut sidewall or a bulge on the tyre can’t be repaired: the tyre has to be replaced.

What we do

One flat tyre, three solutions

Spare wheel fitted

On the spot, nuts tightened and pressure checked.

Towed to a specialist

With no spare, or if the rim is damaged.

More than one wheel hit

Two flat tyres or a bent rim after a kerb: the car goes on the flatbed.

While you wait

Flat tyre: what to do

Stop

Pull over as soon as you can, hazard lights on.

Not on the traffic side

If the flat is on the road side, don’t change it yourself: wait for us behind the barrier.

The locking wheel nut

Its special key is often in the glovebox or under the boot floor.

What if I don’t have a spare?

We tow the car to a tyre specialist or the garage of your choice.

Is the puncture repair kit enough?

For a small hole in the tread, it can get you a few kilometres. Not for a cut sidewall or a torn tyre.

What’s the minimum tread depth in Belgium?

1.6 mm. Tip: slide a €1 coin into the groove; if the whole gold rim shows, there’s less than 3 mm left and it’s time to think about new tyres.
